Mr. Ho joined DBS Bank (Taiwan) as a Managing Director in March 2014. He started in DBS Bank Investing Banking Department as the Managing Director in June 2001. Prior to joining DBS. Mr. Ho was the Head of Global Telecom, Media & Technology Group in Asia at JP Morgan Chase in the United States since 1998. He started his career with JP Morgan Chase in 1989 as a M&A generalist before specializing in media and telecom sectors in New York and Asia.
Since 1994, he has led over US$15 billion of bank or bond financing for SK Telecom, LG Telecom, Hanaro (Korea), MGTI (Indonesia), TBC（Taiwan）, H3G(Italy), Singtel, Sing Post, Yellow Page & SPH（Singapore）, PCCW, CTI, Distacom, Wharf Cable, Tom.com’s City Media Holding (HK), China Mobile (China), Celcom, Maxis & Astro（Malaysia）, PLDT, Bayantel & Globe Telecom（Philippine）, AIS, TAC & ShinSat（Thailand）, Bharti & Reliance Infocomm（India）, C&W IDC（Japan）, QTel (Qatar), Indosat（Indonesia）, MGTI, and Excelcomindo & Equinix（Asia）. In M & A transactions, Mr. Ho provide d professional opinions to Bell Canada, Frontline Technologies (Singapore), CVC, JP Morgan Partners, Super TV (Taiwan), Home Cable (Philippines), Digi (Malaysia), POSCO (Korea) and the Asia Pacific Online (Taiwan ). In 2000, Mr. Ho also advised the TRI (Malaysia) in the restructuring of its US$534 million Euro Convertible Bond in 2000. Since 2003, he has completed multiple IPOs in Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Thailand including Hutchison Port Trust (HK $ 42 billion), Singapore Post ($ 788 million), HKT Trust (HK $ 9.3 billion ), Hongguo International Holdings Limited (HK $ 1.3 billion), Astro (5.34 billion US dollars) and CS Loxlufo ($ 28 million).
In addition to his global coverage responsibility for the TMT Sector from 2001 to 2011, he was also Head of DBS Middle East in 2009 and Head of DBS Malaysia in 2010, before he became the CEO of DBS Asia Capital.
